Welcome to Linwood Active

Linwood Active is a charitable organisation set up by volunteers in Linwood who wanted to make a difference.

Since forming in October 2006 Linwood Active have joined up with the local community to make a big impact in the local area.Here you can keep up to date with all the latest news and events. Join our quarterly clean ups and do your bit for the environment or join the local jogging group and get fit for 2011, with help and advice from trained coaches. Phase one of Kintyre Park has been such a success and is enjoyed by all.  Phase two of the park is currently being worked on and will be getting started in the spring of 2012.  This phase will see more swings, a spinner, 2 more benches and a bike park.  This phase will cost around £10k and is currently with the councils project managers.
